Ihor M. Tkach

Tkach Ihor Mykhailovych was born on August 7, 1997, in the village of Suvorovske, Tulchyn district, Vinnytsia region. He was raised in the family of his grandfather and grandmother. In 2003-2012, he studied at the Suvorovska Secondary School of I-II Degrees No. 1. After completing the 9th grade in 2012, he enrolled in the Tulchyn Vocational School No. 41, which he graduated from in 2015, obtaining the specialty of a repair mechanic and a driver of motor vehicles (category C). He worked as a loader in the finished products warehouse at Vinnytsia Poultry Factory. From 2017 to 2019, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine in March 2022, he was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of senior driver of the 2nd reconnaissance platoon of the special purpose reconnaissance company of the military unit A3028 of the Western Operational and Tactical Group of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was killed on March 1, 2023, during a mortar attack in the area of the village of Spirne, Donetsk region. He is survived by his wife and son.
