  Born on July 20, 1984, in the village of Mostyshche, Makariivskyi district, Kyiv region. Graduated from a general education school. Served in the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, city of Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region). From September 6, 2014, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On October 6, 2014, soldier Vasylenko was killed while covering his comrades at a checkpoint near the city of Volnovakha, Donetsk region, during an armed attack by the enemy. On October 10, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Mostyshche, Makariivskyi district, Kyiv region.
