Ihor O. Chaiun

Chaiun Ihor Oleksandrovych was born on February 26, 1987, in the village of Terpinnia, Melitopol District, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. He graduated from the Kharkiv National Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub. At the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was serving in the city of Melitopol and held the rank of senior lieutenant. He was killed on February 24, 2022, as a result of a rocket attack by Russian occupiers on the military airfield of the 25th Air Transport Brigade.
