Ihor O. Dzioba

Soldier Igor Dzyoba was killed in a hospital in Kyiv on June 15, 2023. On May 10, he sustained severe injuries in a battle with the occupiers in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The defender was 50 years old. Igor was a native and resident of the village of Kryvchyky, Ternopil region. He obtained secondary vocational education at the Vyshnivetskyi Vocational School. Villagers remember him as a good person who never refused to help and was easy to communicate with. The man was used to living a modest and quiet life, worked in various jobs, valued his family and loved his homeland. In the autumn of 2022, Igor was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 110th separate brigade of territorial defense. He was a driver-radio operator of a rifle unit. "Our Hero, fellow villager, a simple and kind person, the warrior Igor Dzyoba. It is still hard to believe that he is no longer with us. Rest in peace, our defender," wrote Oksana Stakhurska. The fighter was buried in his native village. At home, his mother, brother, and sister were waiting for him.
