Ihor O. Los

31-year-old senior soldier Ihor Los was killed at the end of February - beginning of March 2022 in a battle with Russian invaders in the Chernihiv region. The defender suffered fatal shrapnel and gunshot wounds. The exact date of his death could not be established, as the man's body was found only in May near the airport near the village of Shestovytsia. Ihor was from the Chernihiv region. He graduated from the Chernihiv Radio Mechanical Technical School. He worked as a CNC operator, a powder coating master at the Sporttechnika company. He was interested in football. Since 2014, he has participated in the ATO in Donbas. On the first day of the full-scale invasion, Ihor joined the ranks of the 1st separate Siverska tank brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a driver-electrician, an operator of the field bath group of the material support. He took part in the defense of his native region. Ihor's sister Iryna said that the last time her brother spoke with their mother Alla Volodymyrivna was on March 3, 2022. After that, contact with him was lost. "In our hearts, you will forever remain smiling, kind, courageous, and caring," said the deceased's wife Svitlana. The defender was buried in his native village of Brusyliv in the Chernihiv region. Ihor is survived by his parents, wife, son, and sister.
