During the full-scale war, he was a shooter as part of the 12th Operational Purpose Brigade of the NGU "Azov". "In Mariupol, Igor was called the 'poster man' because he always knew where and when a particular performance would take place. We went to all possible rock concerts with him. Igor dreamed of opening his own brewery, he really loved craft beer. He often organized tastings. The man was very kind, always helped everyone. He was talented, played in the theater group at the Palace of Culture "Molodizhnyi". On each of his birthdays, he organized a concert of his own rock band. He had many friends, was the soul of the company," said the warrior's wife, Olena. On August 20, 2022, a farewell ceremony and cremation took place at the Baikove Cemetery in Kyiv.
