Ihor V. Burduzha (Black Fox)

Junior Sergeant Ihor Burduzha (call sign Black Fox) was killed on August 16, 2022, near the village of Opytne in Donbass. He received a fatal injury while performing a combat mission to detect and destroy enemy forces. The warrior was 23 years old forever. Ihor was born in the village of Bazaryanka, Odessa region. He stu at the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs, had an incomplete higher education. He was interested in world literature and philosophy. He wrote poetry. He was engaged in sports. He worked as an administrator in the Odessa youth club "Nais". At the beginning of the full-scale war, Ihor joined the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine without hesitation. He became a fighter of the 115th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In April, he was awarded the distinction "For exemplary service" of the III degree. "A person is spoken about by their actions. Ihor was always ready to support and help, was hardened from childhood by the sea, sports and communication with an infinite number of good people. From the first days of the war, Ihor voluntarily stood up to defend his native land and his family, and until the last moment of his life, he was true to the military oath of the people of Ukraine. Video materials have been preserved where he fearlessly saves his comrades-in-arms in battles for Severodonetsk, his reflections on the war as the most terrible crime against humanity...", said the mother of the deceased Svitlana Konstantinivna. The defender was buried in his native village. Ihor's parents and two older brothers remained.
