Ihor V. Drozdov (Drozd)

Drozdov Igor Volodymyrovich was born on December 2, 1981 in the city of Zhytomyr. He graduated from the local school No. 28, and later from the university "Zhytomyr Polytechnic". During his studies, he passed the military department, where he also acquired the rank of junior lieutenant. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he began to defend his native land. From the first day of the war, he served in the airborne assault troops. He took part in the defense of Kyiv. Later, he was transferred to the 46th separate airmobile brigade, where he held the position of platoon commander. He was killed on July 25, 2022 in the battles for the village of Biloghirka in the Kherson region. He was buried at the Smolyansky military cemetery in the city of Zhytomyr.
