Біографія
Ihor graduated from the Derazhniansky Professional Agrarian Lyceum. He served his mandatory military service in the ranks of the Simferopol Separate Brigade of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. He worked as a logger at the Vovkovynetske Forestry and as a guard for the private enterprise "Legion." For a long time, he served in the internal affairs bodies: from 2007 to 2011, he was in the rapid response police unit "Berkut" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi region, and later in the criminal investigation department of one of the district police departments. After his dismissal (according to some sources, due to health reasons), he participated in the events of the Revolution of Dignity as part of the 3rd hundred of the self-defense of Euromaidan. In March, he joined the newly created first reserve unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, signing a contract for service in the military reserve of the National Guard.Військова служба

Killed in action on May 11, 2014, in the area of the city of Sloviansk, Donetsk region, while returning to the ATO area from vacation. The last contact with him was on May 9, when he called the company commander, managing to say that the vehicle he was traveling to Sloviansk in had come under ambush. Then gunshots were heard on the line, and the connection was lost. On the same day, all the money was withdrawn from Igor's bank card in Kramatorsk. After the liberation of Sloviansk from the militants, Igor's body, with three gunshot wounds and signs of torture, was found in one of the unmarked graves.
