Ihor V. Kozlovskyi (Ihorok)

Soldier Igor Kozlovsky (call sign Igorёk) was killed on December 2, 2023 in the Konstantinovka area of Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he received a fatal shrapnel wound during enemy shelling from Grad rocket launchers. The defender was 43 years old. Igor was born in the village of Sokolivka, Lviv region. After school, he mastered the profession of driver-mechanic at a vocational school. He was a participant in the ATO. He fought in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Luhansk region, had awards. In civilian life, he worked at a sawmill, then at a security company. During the full-scale war, in August 2022, the man returned to the army and went to the front. He served in the 46th separate airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was the driver of an artillery platoon. "I still can't come to terms with his loss... And I'm constantly waiting for his call and message. I don't believe he's gone, and I miss him very much..." shared the wife of the fallen warrior Maria. The paratrooper was buried in his native village. Igor left behind a wife, sisters, daughters, relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.
