- 29-year-old soldier Ihor Lytvyn (call sign Hosha, Malachite) died on January 13, 2023 in a battle for the city of Soledar in the Donetsk region. He covered the retreat of his comrades to more advantageous positions, and himself received fatal injuries. Ihor was from the village of Chornukhy in Poltava region. He graduated from the Berezoruda Professional College of Poltava State Agrarian University and obtained a degree in technology for the production and processing of livestock products. He also studied by correspondence at the Poltava Agrarian University. In civilian life, he worked as a zootechnician at the LLC "Peremoha". In 2016-2018, Ihor participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation. During the full-scale war, having combat experience, he returned to service and went to the front. He fought as part of the 77th separate air assault brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a rifleman-sniper. "My son, I love you very much..." - wrote the mother of the fallen Valentyna Volodymyrivna. The warrior was buried in his native village. At home, Ihor's mother was waiting for him. The paratrooper was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
