Ihor V. Sharhorodskyi (Sharik)

Soldier Igor Shargorodsky (call sign Sharik) was killed on October 16, 2022 while performing a combat mission near the village of Yampolivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was forever 40 years old. Igor was born and lived in Kyiv. He graduated from Kyiv Vocational School No. 29, where he obtained the profession of a construction carpenter and parquet layer. He worked as a master of custom-made furniture. He was passionate about his work and approached it very responsibly. During the full-scale Russian invasion, he volunteered for the army. He joined the defense of his homeland as part of the 131st battalion of the 112th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "My beloved husband was a very kind, polite, fair and intelligent person. He always came to help. We had a lot of dreams, he loved life. I am proud of my husband. He is a true HERO who defended his Homeland," said the widow of the fallen Natalia. The defender was buried at the Berkovetsky cemetery in his native Kyiv. At home, his wife and mother were waiting for Igor.
