- On June 2, 2022, during an enemy shelling in the Pokrovske village area in Donetsk region, 23-year-old Lieutenant Ihor Tyshchenko was killed. The fighter was born in the Sumy region. In 2019, he graduated from the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. He worked at the Hlukhiv Lyceum-Boarding School with enhanced military-physical training. He was an officer-instructor and led a group of martial arts. Ihor Tyshchenko was an instructor of the separate unit of the All-Ukrainian Federation of Military-Sports Multidisciplines in the Sumy region. He achieved great heights in sports: had the status of a candidate for master of sports of Ukraine in military-sports multidisciplines, was a member of the Ukrainian national team, multiple prize-winner and winner of championships and cups of Ukraine. In 2021, he signed a contract to serve in the 16th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 58th brigade. He always tried to do everything on time and qualitatively. He charged everyone with his positive attitude and optimism. Ihor looked at this world through the prism of beauty and creativity, and in all his affairs and undertakings, there was laconicism and creativity, wrote about the comrade on the page of the battalion. Ihor loved domestic animals very much and often took pictures with them. Lieutenant Ihor Tyshchenko was buried in his native village of Dunayets in the Sumy region.
