Ihor Ya. Tiushka

22-year-old soldier Ihor Tiushka was killed in action on July 7, 2022, during battles for Bakhmut in Donetsk region. Near the village of Spirne, the defender received a fatal injury while performing a combat mission. Ihor Tiushka was born in the village of Staryi Mizun, Ivano-Frankivsk region. He stu at the Dolynska boarding school. Then he received the profession of a welder at the higher vocational school No. 21 in Ivano-Frankivsk. The boy was fond of sports, engaged in weightlifting, wrestling, and shot put. He participated in competitions and won awards. He was sociable, open and honest. In late February 2020, Ihor signed a contract for military service with the 80th separate airborne assault brigade. He participated in the JFO in Donbas, defended Luhansk region. From the first days of the full-scale war, Ihor was on the front line and continued to defend Ukraine from Russian occupiers. 22 years of life, parents' endeavors – and the satanic war takes everything... There will be no words: dad-mom... Son! The tragic news shook us at the end of the working day. Just at lunchtime, our hero courageously performed his professional duty! For the last time... We bow our heads in mourning, wrote on the page of the Dolynskyi District Court, where the father of the deceased works. A bright and kind child, Ihor was remembered in a children's camp on vacation.
