Pismennyi Illia L (Poet)

Written Ilya Leonidovich is one of those heroes who died on August 29, 2014, near Ilovaisk. Only after the identification procedure was it possible to establish the identity of the deceased and allow the relatives to say goodbye to their son. 34-year-old Ilya graduated from Kryvyi Rih Secondary School No. 119 and then obtained higher education at the Kryvyi Rih Metallurgical Faculty of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine. From 1999 to 2001, he served in the engineering and sapper unit of the railway troops stationed in Dnipropetrovsk. After returning, he lived with his parents in the Kryvyi Rih neighborhood "Soniachny," and for the last 7 years worked as a roofer at LLC "Remteks." He was called up for military service by mobilization on July 4, 2014, took the position of a sniper in the shooting section of the shooting platoon of the 42nd Territorial Defense Battalion "Movement of Resistance" (military unit V-4750, Kirovohrad), and participated directly in the anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine from August 5 to 29, 2014.
