Illia V. Tolochko

Born on August 2, 1985, in the city of Kyiv. Graduated from a general education school in Kyiv. On June 3, 2015, mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Completed military training at a general military training ground (military unit A4152, the village of Mala Lyubasha, Kostopil district, Rivne region). Served as a shooter-assistant grenade launcher of the 2nd mechanized section of the 1st mechanized platoon of the 7th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 24th separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0998 (field post V4680), the city of Yavoriv, Lviv region). Since the summer of 2015, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Served in the area of the Lysychansk - Luhansk highway (Bakhmut highway), the village of Krymske in the Novoaidar district, the urban-type settlement of Novotoshkivske, and the urban-type settlement of Toshkivka in the Popasna district of Luhansk region. During his service, senior soldier Ilya Tolochko suffered from pneumonia three times and was treated in hospitals. On January 20, 2016, senior soldier Ilya Tolochko died while on duty in the area of the urban-type settlement of Toshkivka in the Popasna district of Luhansk region. Buried at the "Berkovets" City Cemetery in Kyiv.
