Illia Yu. Marynych

Marinich Illia Yuriiovych was born on August 23, 1999 in the village of Dorozhynka, Vilshanka district, Kirovohrad region. He was drafted for military service under a contract in 2019. He held the position of senior driver of the airborne assault platoon of the airborne assault company of the marine battalion of the 36th separate marine brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynsky. Since March 4, 2022, he has not been in contact with his relatives. He died on March 15, 2022. According to his comrades-in-arms, Illia Marinich was buried in Mariupol, Donetsk region. For personal courage and selfless actions, shown in the protection of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, Illia Yuriiovych Marinich was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree (posthumously).
