- Born on November 1, 1970, in the village of Daryivka, Bilozerka district, Kherson region. Graduated from a general education school. From May 11, 2015, she served under contract in the 36th Separate Marine Brigade of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2802, city of Mykolaiv). Since 2015, she participated in the anti-terrorist operation and the Joint Forces operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 1, 2019, at about 10:50 near the village of Vodiane in the Volnovakha district of Donetsk region, Russian-terrorist groups fired at a Ukrainian military medical vehicle "Hummer HMMWV" with an anti-tank missile system while it was on a mission to evacuate the wounded. As a result of a direct hit by a missile, the driver - senior sailor Maiboroda died on the spot, and the medical instructor - sergeant Shevchenko was injured and burned, after which she was evacuated to the 61st military hospital in the city of Mariupol, Donetsk region, where at 14:10 she died from her injuries and burns.
