Ivan I. Berdnyk (Marshal)

Berdnyk Ivan Ihorovych was born on August 17, 1997 in the village of Tykhonovychi, Snovsk district, Chernihiv region. In 2003-2014, he studied at the Tykhonovets secondary school of grades I-III. After finishing school, he studied at the Snovsk Higher School of Forestry. As soon as Ivan turned 18, on his birthday, he went to serve on a contract in Mykolaiv. Then he went to fight in Eastern Ukraine. After a year of service in the ATO zone, he entered the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny. After receiving his diploma, he returned to the ATO / OOS zone again. After the start of the war with the Russian Federation, together with his comrades-in-arms, he stood up to defend the state in the Zaporizhia region. He was killed on April 11, 2022 near the village of Novozlatopil, Polohy district, Zaporizhia region.
