Ivan I. Neher

Born on March 25, 1983, in the village of Verkhnya Tersa, Hulyaipil District, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Completed 9 grades of general education at the Verkhnya Tersa village school and a vocational technical school. Worked as a locksmith and plumber at the Limited Liability Company "Agro-Continent" in the village of Verkhnya Tersa. On August 30, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a sapper in the engineering-sapper platoon of the 1st separate mechanized battalion of the 28th separate guards mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666 (field post V0095), the urban-type settlement of Chornomorske, Kominternivskyi (since 2016 - Lymanskyi) district of Odesa Oblast). Since the fall of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On November 19, 2014, soldier Neher died under mysterious circumstances from a gunshot wound to the back at checkpoint No. 2 near the village of Berezove, Marinka District, Donetsk Oblast. On November 23, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Verkhnya Tersa, Hulyaipil District, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
