- Defender Ivan Prydyuk was killed in action on March 25, 2022, during an enemy air strike near the village of Chervona Dolyna in the Mykolaiv region. The warrior was 50 years old. Ivan was born in the village of Krupove in Rivne region. He stu at the local school. In 1987, he entered the faculty of zootechnology at the Myrohoshchansky Agricultural College. In 1991, he served his military service in Sevastopol, where he was a sailor. After demobilization, he returned to his native village and began working as a zookeeper at the "Peace" collective farm. In 1995, he got married. The couple raised three children: daughter Nadiya, sons Mykola and Mykhailo. In 2007, Ivan worked as a stoker at the state-owned enterprise "Chance", then moved to the CP "Heat Service", and from 2015, he was a stoker at the Krupove ZOS I-II levels. During the full-scale war in March 2022, Ivan was mobilized into the ranks of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. "The scorching pain and bitter sadness of war touched our family with its black wing. Uncle Ivan was a bright, sensitive, and life-loving person, a symbol of positivity, peace, and faith in the best. Simple and open, he could find a common language with everyone. Industrious, he always took care of those who needed help. Uncle Vanya was an exemplary family man, a caring, loving husband and father, the best uncle. Perhaps there was no kinder person on this earth... He gave the most valuable thing - his life - for our land, for its freedom, for the peaceful sky over the heads of our children," said the fallen soldier's niece, Olesya. The soldier was buried in his native village. There, a street was named in his honor. The defender left behind his mother Yevdokia, sisters Oksana and Raisa, wife Halyna, and children. Posthumously, Soldier Ivan Prydyuk was awarded the Order of "Courage" III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
