Ivan I. Tataru (Dobryi)

Ivan Ivanovych Tataru was born on July 17, 1996, in the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk, Mykolaiv region. Since 2016, he served in the 36th Separate Marine Brigade. Senior sailor Tataru fought for 5 years in the hottest spots in Eastern Ukraine. When the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began, the marine was also at the front lines. In late February 2022, Ivan and his comrades were surrounded. However, the servicemen managed to break out of the enemy's tank encirclement twice. Later, he participated in the battles for the city of Mariupol. On March 5, Ivan last contacted his family. Ivan Tataru was killed on March 25, 2022, in the city of Mariupol, Donetsk region. He was buried alongside his comrades in a mass grave in the city of Mariupol.
