Ivan M. Dzhuhan

44-year-old defender Ivan Dzhuhan was killed on March 26, 2022 during the defense of Chernihiv region from Russian invaders. Ivan was born in the village of Shyrokyi Luh in Zakarpattia. He lived in Chernihiv, worked as a frame maker. He loved working with wood. He dreamed of building a house with his own hands for his family, but unfortunately, it was destroyed by the occupiers during the invasion. When the full-scale war began, Ivan took up the defense of Chernihiv region. He joined the ranks of the territorial defense. The man was killed in battle near the village of Kolychivka. "Ivan was a believer. He was very sociable. He helped everyone in different situations. He loved his family. We miss him very much," said his wife Nadiia. Ivan was buried in the village of Kyinka in Chernihiv region. He left behind a wife and three children.
