- Sergeant Ivan Likhachov (call sign Likhyi) was killed on December 18, 2022 near the village of Diliivka in the Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, he received multiple shrapnel wounds as a result of enemy shelling. The defender was forever 34 years old. Ivan was from the village of Kornaliovychi in the Lviv region. He stuwas killed at the Sambir Vocational Lyceum as a gas and electric welder. After getting married, he lived in the village of Rokytne in the Rivne region for the last 15 years. For some time he worked at the Rokytne special quarry, later he became a driver at the Rokytne forestry, and later he fulfilled his dream and became a long-distance truck driver. He had a talent for repairing cars and agricultural machinery. He had his own tractor, so he was constantly rebuilding and improving something. His wife always joked that the garage for Ivan was like a kindergarten, where he played with his toys. In his free time, he loved to fish, and he had fishing gear for all tastes. During the full-scale war, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect his country and his family from the enemy. He became a warrior of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo. He held the position of driver of the reconnaissance platoon of the 46th separate rifle battalion. "Ivan was the best husband, loving father, good master, caring son and brother, a good loyal friend... Always cheerful, cheerful, he was the soul of the company," his wife Iryna said. She also dedicated a poem to her fallen husband. The serviceman was buried in the village of Rokytne in the Rivne region.
