Ivan O. Valkov (Elektryk)

Soldier Ivan Valkov (call sign Electrician) was killed on June 16, 2023, during combat operations near the village of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. In May, the defender turned 38 years old. Ivan lived in the city of Bilytske, Donetsk region. In 2004, he graduated from the Bilytske Vocational and Technical School. In recent years, he worked as an electrical fitter at the enterprise "Clays of Donbas". He was passionate about electronics, machinery repair, and automobiles. In April 2023, the man joined the ranks of the defenders. He fought for his country in the ranks of the 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a sniper. "My husband was always smiling and strong. He had golden hands, did everything you asked him to. He dreamed of a big family. We will always love you, you will be forever in our hearts! Eternal memory to the Hero!" - wrote the wife of the fallen Anastasia. The paratrooper was buried in his hometown. A loving family was waiting for Ivan at home. The military was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
