- Born on May 31, 1993, in the village of Syritske Pershe, Shyriayivskyi district, Odesa region. Graduated from the general education school in the village of Novoyelyzavetivka, Shyriayivskyi district, then attended a vocational school in the city of Odesa, specializing as a "driver" and "electrical locksmith." Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the army, he worked in the city of Odesa. In August 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 28th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666 (field post V0095), the urban-type settlement of Chornomorske, Kominternivskyi district (since 2016 - Lymanskyi district), Odesa region). Together with Ivan Yusypiv, his older brother Ruslan served, and they were both sent to the area of the anti-terrorist operation. Since October 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On March 10, 2015, at approximately 16:00, three servicemen from the brigade went to set up "tripwires" for the defense of the platoon stronghold 2804 near the village of Slavne, Marinka district, Donetsk region. Half an hour later, they reported that they had encountered a cargo truck "Ural" with enemy infantry, which had 20-30 militants. The Ukrainian soldiers engaged in battle with a numerically superior enemy and requested reinforcements. After that, the commander of the platoon stronghold decided to send them BMP (infantry fighting vehicle) and MTLB (light armored tractor) with an anti-aircraft installation for support. Soldier Ivan Yusypiv drove the MTLB, while his brother Ruslan Yusypiv operated the anti-aircraft gun. At approximately 16:30, while heading to assist their comrades, the MTLB hit an anti-tank mine. As a result of the explosion, senior soldier Ivan Yusypiv died on the spot, and his brother Ruslan Yusypiv was thrown aside by the blast wave and suffered a leg fracture. He is buried in the cemetery of the village of Syritske Pershe, Shyriayivskyi district, Odesa region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
