Ivan S. Kuchmii

Born on April 30, 1992, in the village of Bohdanivka, Domanyvskyi district, Mykolaiv region. Graduated from the general education school of the village of Bohdanivka, then from the South Ukrainian Professional Machine-Building Lyceum (now the State Educational Institution "South Ukrainian Professional Lyceum," in the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk, Mykolaiv region). Served mandatory military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On March 26, 2015, mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a service number in the 2nd battalion of the 28th separate guards mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666 (field post V0095), the urban-type settlement of Chornomorske, Kominternivskyi district (since 2016 - Lymanskyi district), Odesa region). Since the spring of 2015, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 13, 2015, soldier Kuchmiy was killed near the city of Marinka, Donetsk region, as a result of shrapnel wounds from a direct hit by a shell into the dugout. On June 16, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Bohdanivka, Domanyvskyi district, Mykolaiv region.
