Ivan S. Lineitsev

Senior soldier Ivan Lineitsev was killed on April 23, 2022 while performing a combat mission in the Mykolaiv region. The defender was 27 years old. Ivan was born in the village of Makarivka, Kherson region. After school, he graduated from the Chaplynsky Lyceum and obtained the profession of a driver-electrician. In 2013, he served in the National Guard of Ukraine in Lviv. In 2014, he participated in the ATO in the area of the Luhansk airport and the city of Debaltseve, Donetsk region. Then he served under a contract. He also studied in parallel at the Kropyvnytskyi University. He was a good and sincere person, always came to help, dreamed of starting a family. In 2017-2020, he served in the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade, as part of which he performed combat missions on the territory of the Joint Forces Operation. According to his sister, he really liked the army, it was his place. He felt comfortable there. In 2020, Ivan joined the 10th battalion of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. He was an operator of a portable air defense missile system in the air defense missile platoon. "To all my worries, he always replied that everything would be fine. We will remember him as young, cheerful, kind and the most beloved hero," his sister Tetiana said. The serviceman was buried in the village of Krynychky, Mykolaiv region. At home, his parents, brother and sister were waiting for Ivan.
