- Soldier Ivan Haidar (call sign Barman) was killed on May 6, 2023, near the settlement of Dibrova in the Luhansk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he sustained a fatal explosive injury. The defender was 32 years old. Ivan was born in the village of Dibrivka, Poltava region, in a large family. From childhood, he had a talent for craftsmanship and construction, so after finishing the local school, he did not hesitate long with his future profession. At the Myrhorod Vocational School No. 44, he mastered the profession of painter-plasterer. After graduation, he worked in a school for some time, and later was drafted into the army. Returning home, he engaged in his favorite occupation - working on construction sites. "Colleagues at work valued him as a disciplined, diligent, responsible, and decent master of his craft. Friends respected him for his friendliness, sincerity, and humanity. Ivan was lucky to meet his love, create a family, in which a wonderful girl Polinka was born in February 2022. There were many plans and hopes for a happy life ahead. It did not happen. The cursed war crossed out the dreams," they say in the Myrhorod community. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ivan himself joined the army, as he wanted above all to protect his family from the enemy. At first, he served in the security company of the Myrhorod District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support. Later, he became a rifleman of the 32nd separate rifle battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From February 2023, he defended the Luhansk region. The warrior was buried on the Alley of Heroes of the cemetery in Myrhorod. The defender left behind his parents, wife, daughter, three sisters, and a brother. Ivan Haidar was posthumously awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Myrhorod City Territorial Community".Memory Platform 'Memorial'
