Ivan V. Nadutyi (Rozvidka)

30-year-old soldier Ivan Nadutyi (call sign Rozvidka) was killed on April 23, 2022, in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Solodke in Donetsk region. He stayed behind to cover his retreating comrades and suffered a fatal explosive injury. Ivan was born in the village of Nikonorivka in Donetsk region. He lived in the town of Rodynske in Donetsk. He received a secondary education. He completed his mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In civilian life, he worked as a support worker at the "Krasnolymanska" mine. During the full-scale Russian invasion, he fought for his country in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a fighter in the 46th Separate Battalion "Donbas" of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He held the position of deputy commander of the combat vehicle, gunner-operator. "Heroes do not die... Honor, glory, mourning, brother... We will return all debts to the enemy, we will avenge every fallen person, man, woman, child. Rest in peace, brother..." wrote comrade Pavlo. "According to his comrades, he was always brave, courageous, and never afraid of anything. Just as he was not afraid to die for his Motherland," noted the late soldier's ex-wife Elmira. Ivan was buried in his native village. The defender is survived by his father Volodymyr Ivanovych, sister Natalia, son Kyrylo, relatives, close ones, friends, and comrades. Posthumously, the hero was awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.
