- Soldier Ivan Shuklin (call sign Riddick) was killed on January 28, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission in the village of Raihorodka in the Luhansk region. Ivan was 39 years old. He was born and lived in Drohobych, Lviv region. He graduated from secondary school No. 4 and vocational school No. 15. In peacetime, he worked at the Drohobych meat processing plant. He also went to work abroad. At the beginning of the full-scale war, the man was abroad. But he returned to Ukraine and in June 2022 joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as part of the 68th separate ranger brigade. He was at the front line positions for 1.5 years. For the conscientious fulfillment of military duties, he received an honorary award from the command - the "Cross of the Ranger Warrior" of the 1st degree. "Ivan was a brave warrior. He did not serve in the army, but at the beginning of the war he returned from abroad to defend the state. I am proud, I love and incredibly miss him," wrote his wife Victoria. The warrior was buried on the Alley of Glory in Drohobych. Ivan is survived by his mother, wife, two daughters, and brothers.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
