Kostiantyn D. Belimenko (Islam)

Belimenko Kostyantyn Dmytrovych was born on August 6, 1994, in the town of Pisochyn, Kharkiv region. He studied at school №39 in Kharkiv. After completing 9th grade, he entered Kharkiv State Automobile Transport College, and later - Kharkiv National University of Construction and Architecture. He was involved in sports and actively trained. Since childhood, he was engaged in wrestling, sambo, judo, later - Thai boxing, and also kudo in recent years. He competed in regional and national competitions in Thai boxing and kickboxing, taking prize-winning places at the national level. He was one of the active fans, belonging to the ultras of the Kharkiv football club "Metalist", a member of the collective "Nord Side Firm". In 2013-2014, he actively participated in the Revolution of Dignity in Kyiv and Kharkiv. He was a participant in the battle on Rymarska Street in Kharkiv on March 15, 2014, defending the building of "Prosvita" during separatist and pro-Russian militants' attacks. From June 23, 2014, he served in the separate special purpose unit "Azov". He participated in battles for the liberation of Mar'inka. On August 4, 2014, he received shrapnel wounds to his lower limbs as a result of a radio-controlled explosive device explosion. After his injury, he received help from his comrades from fan movements in Cherkasy and Mykolaiv. After going through the process of treatment and rehabilitation, he remained an active participant in the "Azov" movement. Since 2020, he returned to service, serving as an instructor (scout) in the 2nd section of the 1st combat group of the special purpose reconnaissance regiment of the NGU "Azov". He was killed on March 20, 2022, in close combat during the storming of one of the positions near Mariupol, Donetsk region. The farewell took place on August 30, 2022, in the Kyiv crematorium. He was buried on September 3, 2022, in the village of Pisochyn in Kharkiv region.
