- Sergeant Konstantin Mindru (call sign "Masyanya) was killed on July 18, 2023, during an assault in the area of the settlement of Nevelske in the Donetsk region. He received a fatal injury as a result of enemy tank shelling. The warrior was 31 years old. Konstantin was born in the village of Novoselyvka, Mykolaiv region. He graduated from the Arbuzyn Vocational Agricultural Lyceum. He was passionate about tattooing. He lived with his family in Odesa. Later, he decided to dedicate himself to military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He carried out combat missions in the ATO/JFO area in 2018-2019. At the time of the full-scale invasion, Konstantin was serving in the ranks of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. He was the commander of the anti-aircraft missile section of the anti-aircraft missile platoon of the 10th Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion "Polissya". From the first days of the great war, together with his comrades-in-arms, he repelled enemy attacks in various directions of the front. "Konstantin was a cheerful and sincere person. He voluntarily went to defend our Motherland with the words: 'If not me, then who?'. He received good reviews from his comrades-in-arms and the command, always diligently carried out all the tasks of the commander, had a courageous spirit and great faith in our victory. He wanted to live in a free country and build a bright life. He very much wanted a daughter and a son, but did not have time..." wrote the wife of the fallen soldier, Victoria Stepanova. The defender was buried in his native village. Konstantin is survived by his father, sisters, and wife.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
