Kostiantyn M. Bartosh (Kraken)

Sergeant Konstiantyn Bartosh (call sign Kraken) was killed on December 24, 2022, in battle with the occupiers near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 52 years old. Konstiantyn was born in the village of Radolivka, Zaporizhia region. After finishing school, he entered SPTU No. 53 in the village of Obichne, where he obtained the profession of a tractor driver. In 2014, the man settled in the village of Bohdany in the Chernihiv region. There he lived and worked. He met his love and got married. He raised four children from the woman's previous relationships as his own. He also had two sons from his first marriage. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man stood up to defend Ukraine. In May, he joined the ranks of the 23rd separate special forces battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a grenadier. "Always friendly, never refused to help anyone, loved his family. This was a person who always smiled, I don't remember a day when he was without a smile. This is the person who loved life and wanted to live... Dad, we miss you very much, we miss you so much. I'm proud that you are my father, and I am your daughter. You are my universe, my life. You live in our hearts, until the last breath. When I have a son, he will proudly bear your name," wrote the deceased's daughter Snizhana. "Konstiantyn was an exceptionally kind and sensitive man. For the four children of Valentyna Mykolaivna, he became a caring and exemplary father. Hardworking, compassionate, an exceptional host, he always helped his fellow villagers in everything they asked him for," noted the Varvynska village council. Konstiantyn was buried in the village of Bohdany, Chernihiv region. He left behind a wife and children.
