Kostiantyn M. Zhyvotchenko (Kostyl)

Born on January 25, 1977, in the village of Novoselivka, Novovodolazkyi district, Kharkiv region. Ukrainian. Graduated from a general education school. In the winter of 2013-2014, he was at Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv, where he was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity. In 2014, he was mobilized as a volunteer into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 24th battalion of territorial defense "Aidar" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V0624), and from 2015, he was a rangefinder operator in the 128th separate mountain infantry brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1778, Uzhhorod, Zakarpattia region). Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Kostyl." On April 7, 2016, around 19:30, soldier Kostiantyn Zhyvotchenko was killed during a mortar shelling of a platoon stronghold in the area of the village of Opytne, Yasynuvata district, Donetsk region. On April 11, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Novoselivka, Novovodolazkyi district, Kharkiv region.
