Kostiantyn P. Kasich (Elf)

Kosich Kostiantyn Pavlovych was born on September 28, 1981, in a military family. He had a military education. He was engaged in a private construction business and equipment repair. In 2013–2014, he was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity. He was a member of the 1st platoon of the 8th self-defense company of the Maidan, and later a member of the eponymous public organization. In March 2014, with the beginning of the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine, he was mobilized into the ranks of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade and participated in battles in the Donetsk region. On March 8, 2016, he founded the snail farm "Snail Elf" in the city of Bucha, and later created a branch of the snail farm in the village of Shcherbani, but due to a conflict with partners in 2020, he was forced to close his own farm in Bucha and leave the snail business. In 2021, together with other veterans, he founded the NGO "Union of ATO/JFO Veterans of the Vorzel Rural Community". In the spring of 2022, after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, he was mobilized. He took part in battles in the ranks of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade. He was killed on February 12, 2023, in battles near Bakhmut. On February 17, 2023, according to his will, he was buried in the Yablunske Cemetery in the city of Bucha, next to his father. He is survived by his mother, wife, and children.
