Kostiantyn R. Mianovskyi (Timon)

Senior soldier Kostiantyn Manovskyi (call sign Timon) was killed on March 12, 2024 in battle with the enemy near the village of Netailove in the Donetsk region. The defender was 26 years old. Kostiantyn was born in the village of Kushuhum, Zaporizhia region. He graduated from the Kushuhum gymnasium "Intelekt". In his free time, he played football and was a goalkeeper. The young man decided to connect his life with military service. He served in the National Guard of Ukraine for three years. In August 2021, he transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Kostiantyn served in the 53rd separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. He met the full-scale invasion on the frontline of the Donetsk region. At the time of his death, he held the position of mortar commander. For his service, he was awarded the medals "For Exemplary Military Service" of the III degree and "Unbreakable Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War". "My little son is bright, kind, caring, sensitive. The best son," said the mother of the fallen defender. Kostiantyn was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Heroes of the Kushuhum cemetery. He is survived by his mother and two sisters.
