Kostiantyn S. Chetverikov (Veterynar)

Sergeant Konstiantyn Chetverikov (call sign Veterinarian) was killed on July 23, 2023 in the battle for the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he sustained a fatal explosive injury. The warrior was 38 years old. Konstiantyn was born in the village of Zelenyi Yar, Mykolaiv region. At the age of 2, he moved with his family to the village of Stanislavchyk, Cherkasy region, where he grew up and received his secondary education. He then mastered the profession of a cook-confectioner at a vocational school. Recently, he worked in construction in Kyiv. On May 19, 2023, the man was mobilized into the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training in the United Kingdom and then joined the ranks of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade. He took the position of a grenade launcher assistant shooter and went to the frontline. On July 19, he went on a combat mission with two comrades-in-arms. For three days, they bravely held their position, and when they were returning, unfortunately, my brother and another of his comrades-in-arms were killed by a direct hit of a shell. Kostia was in the zero positions in the Bakhmut direction. He stood as a living shield for his Motherland against enemy artillery. He could have done much more for his country, but did not have the time. He shot accurately and learned very quickly, his commanders were delighted with his professionalism and speed of learning. His comrades-in-arms said that even in the most difficult situation, Kostia always smiled and joked, never lost hope, which lifted the spirits of everyone. My elder brother was a man of his word and deed, and in his lifetime he never did anything bad to anyone, he had a kind and bright soul. There is much more I would like to say, but I will say one thing: there is no one like him anymore... Those who were close to him know how great this loss is... We remain forever with the pain... The defender was buried in the village of Stanislavchyk, Cherkasy region. At home, Konstiantyn was awaited by his parents, sister, daughter and godson.
