Kostiantyn S. Klymenko (Klym)

Junior Sergeant Kostiantyn Klymenko (call sign Klym) was killed on August 19, 2023 during the assault on the village of Andriivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was 41 years old. Kostiantyn was born and lived in the town of Gradyzk, Poltava region. He received secondary education at the local school. He worked on construction sites in Gradyzk and Kyiv. He was interested in drifting and racing. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to the front. He served in the 3rd separate assault brigade. "Kostiantyn was very sincere, always helped everyone, never left anyone in trouble. He didn't want to upset anyone, so he always said that he was doing well and would definitely return home... He was the best brother, son and father," said the warrior's sister Tetiana Chala. The defender was buried in the Old Cemetery in his native town. Kostiantyn is survived by his parents, sister, daughter, relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.
