Kostiantyn V. Korobov

Soldier Kostiantyn Korobov was killed on May 30, 2024 during enemy shelling near the village of Prechystivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was forever 39 years old. Kostiantyn was born in Kyiv, and later the family moved to the city of Brovary. After graduating from the lyceum, he went to study to become a cook. He worked at LLC "Kyivguma" - he made heaters, then he got a job as a general worker at a shoe factory. He was fond of hunting. He loved to shoot, and visited the shooting range with his friends. At the end of 2019, he started working at "Nova Poshta". "We met him there. Kostia was tall, agile, able to solve everything, he negotiated with everyone. He knew how to attract people to himself. He was kind, positive, fair, always rushed to help. At work, he did his own work and ran to help me. He quickly won my heart. Life was quiet and peaceful: work-home, home-work. The husband walked a lot with the older daughter, this is my daughter from the first marriage, he traveled with her to zoos and parks. Kostia loved her so much that he officially formalized paternity. The brightest memory is how we went on an excursion from the trade union, it was romance for us. And so, I cook, and he cleans, that's how our life was. And then the younger one was born, there were more worries and concerns. The husband was a golden father: he washed, changed diapers, fed. He did not divide the daughters into "mine-yours", they were both his princesses. Kostiantyn wanted to become a manager at "Nova Poshta", he had prospects for this. And the biggest dream was to buy his own home. He went to serve without refusals, he said: "I want to protect you, I have to do it!" - says his wife Yulia. With the start of the full-scale war, Kostiantyn, along with his father-in-law, went to the military enlistment office. Further, the men were scattered: the father was taken into service immediately, and Kostiantyn returned to work and received the summons only a year later. He defended the country as part of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade, he was a grenade launcher. He underwent military training in Poland, and after returning fought in the Donetsk direction. He had the status of a participant in hostilities and a war veteran. The defender was buried on the Alley of Glory in the city of Brovary, Kyiv region. Kostiantyn is survived by his wife, daughters, and relatives.
