- Military serviceman Konstantin Manko (call sign Bug) was killed on September 26, 2022, defending Ukrainian lands from the occupiers. The defender was 41 years old. Konstantin was born in the city of Luhansk. He stu at Luhansk Specialized School I-III degrees No. 54. He graduated from East Ukrainian National University named after Volodymyr Dahl with a degree in "Applied Physics." He actively participated in the Revolution of Dignity and left his hometown after its occupation. Since 2015, he worked as a developer in leading IT companies, lived in Kyiv, and volunteered at the "Sirius" animal shelter. He was passionate about running and cycling trips. Later, he moved to Lviv. With the onset of the full-scale invasion, he took up the defense of his homeland as part of the 132nd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He later transferred to the 114th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade. "War takes the best. A warrior, a volunteer, an IT developer, a father... Unfortunately, the hell of war took your life for our freedom. It was a great honor to be friends with you. Rest in peace, my friend. We will do everything for our common victory," wrote his comrade Viktor Rudenko. "A unique guy who could easily communicate with serious dogs, finding a common language with them. He was a sensitive, wonderful person who was always happy to help, loved animals, engaged in sports, and generally loved life very much," wrote his friend Oleksandra Mezinova. The defender was buried at the Mars Field of Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. Konstantin is survived by his wife and two sons.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
