Kyrylo O. Karpenko (Maior)

Kyrylo Oleksiyovych Karpenko was born on September 24, 1994, in Chernihiv. He graduated from a local school. Later, he went to the Czech Republic, where he worked as a foreman in a construction company. In his free time, he engaged in sports, particularly had a hobby of bodybuilding. In 2018, the young man joined the ranks of the separate special forces unit of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov." There, he immediately established himself as a responsible fighter and a reliable comrade. He learned quickly and always helped his friends. He participated in battles at the Svitlodarsk Bulge. Later, he went to train as a sniper. In 2021, Kyrylo Karpenko entered an institute and managed to pass his first winter session. On March 7, 2022, during a battle with Russian occupiers, Kyrylo sustained serious injuries from fragments of an enemy shell. His comrades provided him with first aid and evacuated him from the battlefield.
