Kyrylo S. Marach (Starter)

Marach Kyrylo Serhiyovych, born on April 12, 1986, in Novohrad-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr region. He studied at Novohrad-Volynskyi Secondary School No. 9. In 2005, he graduated from a technical school with a specialty in "Electrician". Since 2020, he has been studying at the Polissia National University. He worked in the energy sales department of the Novohrad-Volynskyi REM. In 2015, he began service as a radio operator in the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade. In 2017, he was transferred to the reconnaissance battalion, where he progressed from a shooter-gunner to a platoon commander. He was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) / Joint Forces Operation (JFO). He died on August 17, 2022, from injuries received at the Kramatorsk hospital. He was buried on August 21, 2022, in the village of Maystrov, Zvahilskyi district. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
