Biography
In 1987, he graduated from Vocational Technical School No. 34 in Radomyshl. He served in the Armed Forces in Katowice (Poland) as a tank commander. Since 1993, he served in the internal affairs bodies, and from 2000, he held the position of commander of the fire department No. 29 in Tetiyiv. From 2008 until August 2014, he worked at the private enterprise "Slobodyanyk." On August 28, he volunteered to go to the front. In December, during his leave, Leonid Sukhatsky became a hero of the "Brave Hearts" program on the "1+1" television channel. The separatists called his tank "Black Death," while Leonid referred to it as "Our Little Friend." He is credited with destroying 3 enemy combat vehicles during two months of defending Mariupol.Military service
