Leonid F. Palamarchuk (Palamar)

52-year-old senior sergeant Leonid Palamarchuk (call sign Palamar) was killed on April 15, 2022 while performing his official duties in the area of Bilozirske, Donetsk region. The defender came under enemy artillery fire and received a fatal wound. Leonid was born in the village of Ilkivka, Vinnytsia region. He lived in Vinnytsia. He graduated from Vinnytsia Higher Vocational School No. 2 and obtained the profession of a forklift driver. He worked at the Torgtechnika company. He was married, loved to spend time with his family, and often rested in nature together. He was interested in drawing with his daughter. In his free time, he was engaged in artistic activities with children, whom they call "rain children". During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man defended his relatives and the Motherland in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 110th separate mechanized brigade named after Major General Marko Bezruchko. He held the position of deputy company commander. "You have gone from us into eternity, but the bright memory, tenderness and goodness of your heart will forever remain with us. You lived honestly, loved life and now have gone into oblivion. But you have left a bright memory and will be with us forever, dear," wrote the wife of the fallen Yana. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Sabarivskoye cemetery in Vinnytsia. At home, his wife and daughter were waiting for Leonid.
