Leonid I. Volyk

Volik Leonid Ivanovych was born in the village of Lebedyn, Shpolyanski district, Cherkasy region. Later, his family moved and settled in the village of Heronymivka, Cherkasy region, where Leonid finished school. He served in the border troops. After his service, he returned to the village and engaged in entrepreneurship. In December 2021, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was killed on April 17, 2022, in battles with Russian invaders near the village of Novotoshkivske in Luhansk region. He was buried in the village of Heronymivka in Cherkasy region. He is survived by his parents and two sisters.
