- Soldier Leonid Nehovora (call sign Tykhyi) was killed on September 30, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Rivnopil in the Donetsk region. The defender was 48 years old. Leonid was a native of the village of Tereshykha, Chernihiv region. Since 1986, he had lived with his family in the village of Parafiivka, Chernihiv region, where he graduated from the local secondary school. After that, he studied at a driving school. He served in the military. After demobilization, he worked at the Parafiivka sugar factory. Since 2021, he has been an auxiliary worker at the Dobrobut enterprise of the Parafiivka village council. He joined the ranks of the defenders on April 19, 2023. He served in the 127th separate brigade of the territorial defense. He held the position of a member of the anti-aircraft machine gun section of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery platoon of the fire support company. "He always helped everyone who needed it. He was a true son, father, brother, friend, comrade. He had many plans that he did not have time to implement, unfortunately. Leonid gave his life so that we could live in a free and independent Ukraine. He defended his native land at the cost of his own life. He honorably fulfilled his duty to protect his state and was faithful to the Ukrainian people and Ukraine until his last breath," wrote the deceased's sister Alina Timankova. "He was calm, responsible, conscientious, honest, generous, helped those in need, unhesitatingly fulfilled any requests and assignments, and did not shy away from work," said the Parafiivka village council. The warrior was buried in the village of Parafiivka. Leonid is survived by his parents, sister, and son.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
