Liubomyr B. Bordun (Bohun)

Liubomyr Boryslavovych Bordun was born on June 29, 1984. In 2008, he graduated from the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as a lecturer at the preparatory faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and from 2012 to 2016, he was the deputy director for academic affairs at Mykhailo Hrushevskyi Gymnasium in Kolomyia. From 2016 to 2022, he was the head of the Department of Education of the Kolomyia City Council. At the start of the full-scale Russian invasion in 2022, he fought as part of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade. He participated in the battles for Sievierodonetsk. He was killed on September 23, 2022, in the Bakhmut direction. He was buried on September 28, 2022, on the Alley of Glory in Kolomyia. He is survived by his wife and two children.
