- Publications- Born on July 29, 1987, in the village of Demnya, Mykolaiv district, Lviv region. In 2003, he graduated from the 9th grade of the general education school in the village of Demnya, then attended a higher vocational school specializing in "electrician" in the city of Stryi, Lviv region. From 2006 to 2007, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After military service, he worked as an electrician in construction. On August 15, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a grenade launcher in the airborne assault battalion of the 80th separate airborne regiment of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (now the 80th separate airborne assault brigade - military unit A0284, city of Lviv). From November 11, 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. In December 2014, as part of the battalion of the 80th separate airborne brigade, he entered the territory of the new terminal of Donetsk airport. On January 1, 2015, soldier Podfedko was killed during an attack by Russian militants on the new terminal of Donetsk airport when a grenade exploded under his feet. On January 7, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Demnya, Mykolaiv district, Lviv region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
