- Borderguard Lyubomyr Bondarets (call sign Lyubimchik) was killed on January 9, 2023, defending the city of Soledar in Donetsk Oblast from the occupiers. In December, the defender turned 32 years old. Lyubomyr was born and lived in the village of Tesluv, Rivne Oblast. He graduated from the Drohobych Oil Technical School with a specialty in "Maintenance and Repair of Oil and Gas Field Equipment". He was engaged in entrepreneurial activities. In the spring of 2022, the man joined the ranks of the defenders to defend Ukraine from the occupiers. He fought in the ranks of the 1st Donetsk Border Guard Unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. He held the position of a 2nd category border guard inspector - the head of the section (grenadier) of the rapid response border guard station No. 1. "Lyubomyr was a true patriot of his country, full of strength, a good family man and a caring father, a support and pillar for his wife and parents, a person with a pure and kind heart, a faithful friend and comrade. Brave and courageous. He always came to help. Until his last breath, he defended the sovereignty of our state and gave the most valuable - his life, for the victory and independence of Ukraine..." - said the wife of the fallen soldier. The warrior was buried in his native village. At home, Lyubomyr was awaited by his parents Tetyana and Vasyl, brother Mykhailo, wife Liliia and daughter Uliana. Memorial plaques were opened for Soldier Lyubomyr Bondarets on the walls of the Tesluv Lyceum and on the territory of the Donetsk Border Guard Unit.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
